Getting There

There are a few parking options, though each require a short walk to the ceremony. For this reason we recommend organising a drop-off or an Uber/taxi in.

The best spots to get dropped off are:

Thornton Street/Pixley Street - From here it’s a 5 minute walk southward along the river (towards Southbank) to get to the venue

Joeys Cafe - From here, you walk down some steep stairs then walk north along the river for a minute to get to the venue

The small carpark below the Coronation Drive bridge - From here it’s a 5 minute walk north along the river to get to the venue

If you want to park, please give yourself some more time. It can be tricky to find a park. Some parking options are below:

• Parking along Lower River Terrace near Coronation Drive - Here there can often be parks.

• This small sidestreet above Lower River Terrace - Also often has often has parks, though is tricky to u-turn. This is called also called Lower River Terrace on Google Maps

• Parking along Upper River Terrace - There are often parks in this area, though you’ll need to descend steep stairs to get to the venue. The streets around this area is another option

• Pixley Street - Rarely parks, and not a lot of options in this area. If you can’t find a park here, your next bet is Hamilton Street.

• Hamilton Street / CT. White Park - There are often parks here, though there’s a bit of a walk into the venue

• PLEASE NOTE: The Kangaroo Point Cliffs carpark and the end of the road along the river - Unless you have mobility issues, please don’t park or get dropped off here, as this narrow road will undoubtedly turn into a traffic jam.
